Chrome mark
The KI mark rendered as liquid champagne chrome in one shader, with a key light that trails the pointer.
Where it earns its place
A hero or launch moment where the brand mark itself is the product shot: identity pages, launch sites, a 404 that still feels expensive.
What we changed
- Kept the core idea: solve a smooth height field from the flat logo, then light that field as metal, so any vector mark works.
- Tied the math to a shape: taking the square root of the Poisson solution makes every stroke a true round tube, instead of tuning a curve by eye.
- Replaced the original's twenty tuning props with one environment (hard horizon, two strip lights) in the champagne palette, and colour split only at the rim.
- Rebuilt on three and react-three-fiber with half-float slopes, DPR capped at 1.5, rendering paused off screen and a single still frame under reduced motion.
