Where it earns its place
The moment a case study or product film takes over the page: a work index opening into its first project, a launch page revealing the product.
What we changed
- Kept the two ideas that make it feel expensive: the frame is revealed with clip-path instead of resized, and the content counter-zooms from 1.2 to 1 so it reads as uncovered, not stretched.
- Kept the staged windows: the title is gone by 45% of the way open and the result only arrives after 68%, so they never share the frame.
- Moved from hand-written scroll listeners and a smoothing loop to framer's useScroll on the panel's own scroller and a critically damped spring.
- The closed frame is sized in pixels before percentages, so on a phone it is still a card you can read, not a thumbnail.
- Replaced the stock photo slot with a composed Aster OS launch site and its real +41% qualified demos result; reduced motion shows the open state.
